HDPE pipes are generally used as an external casing for pre-insulated pipes conveying hot pressure fluids from thermal power stations to residential or industrial consumers.
HDPE excellent mechanical properties and chemical inertness make casing pipes ideal to give pre-insulated pipes complying with EN 253 standard the required properties of protection and insulation against the aggressiveness of the surrounding ground.
